The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, a historically Black college in existence for over 140 years, and the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2018, have enjoyed decades of collaboration. This exhibition features artwork from ASC’s Permanent Collection by UAPB faculty and students. Works on exhibit include pieces from each art department chairman: John Miller Howard, Henri Linton, and Danny Campbell. Faculty artists are Tarrence Corbin, Earnest Davidson, Fred Schmidt, and Dr. William Detmers. Students who have gone on to national acclaim include Kevin Cole, Joe Norman, and Dr. Jeff Donaldson with a piece on loan thanks to the UAPB Library and Mr. Ed Fontenette.

This exhibit is sponsored by the Arkansas Arts Council, Pine Bluff Advertising and Promotion Commission, and Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel Co.
